Ultrasound allows the doctor to achieve a depth of detail that is not possible with an x-ray. Ultrasound examinations can usually be done without anesthesia.

Cardiac Ultrasound specifically aids the doctor in the diagnosis and treatment of various heart diseases. We are able to visualize the interior of the heart, the movement of each chamber, and the heart valves.

Abdominal Ultrasound allows the doctor to fully examine all of the internal organs, intestinal tract, and bladder. This can be crucial to obtaining an accurate diagnosis.
