A Canisius College graduate and a West Seneca native, Lauren is the Kennel Manager and a veterinary assistant to the Cheektowaga Veterinary Hospital, since 2007. Her previous experience at the West Palm Beach Zoo, Buffalo Zoo, and Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center, make her a valuable member of the hospital’s support team.
It’s no surprise Lauren has a home full of animals. She has 2 dogs (Merlin and Gomez), a rabbit (Loppy), a pet rat (Maverick), 6 birds (Cocoa, Sydney, Tweek, Charmin, Vinny the French Fry, and Lars Grindguest) and a rooster named Maxim.
When not taking care of her bunch of critters, Lauren enjoys hiking, camping, drawing/painting, and bird watching, of course.
Carolyn
Local to the area, Carolyn has been a kennel attendant to the Cheektowaga Veterinary Hospital since 2000. She has a deep love for animals, and has a strong interest in grooming.
Carolyn continually tries to improve the unwanted pet population of cats by taking strays off the street, and having them neutered and spayed.
She spends her leisure time baking in the presence of her 6 cats- Ace, Joe, Barry, Ginger, Jasper, and Diana.
