Our Team: Veterinary Assistant
Our veterinary assistants aid the veterinarian in physical examinations and assist our licensed technicians with treatments and procedures. They are there to facilitate the patient to veterinarian interaction.
Lauren
Veterinary Assistant
A Canisius College graduate and a West Seneca native, Lauren is a Veterinary Assistant to the Cheektowaga Veterinary Hospital. Her previous experience at the West Palm Beach Zoo, Buffalo Zoo, and Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center, make her a valuable member of the hospital’s support team. She has been working for CVH since 2007. It is no surprise Lauren has a home full of animals. She has 3 dogs, 4 birds, 1 rooster, 2 cats and 6 lab rats. When not taking care of her bunch of critters, Lauren enjoys hiking, camping, drawing/painting, and bird watching, of course.
Jackson
Veterinary Assistant
Jackson graduated from SUNY Delhi and is currently finishing his Veterinary Technician degree. Jackson is originally from Rhinebeck, NY and joined our staff in 2022. Jackson enjoys botany, camping, writing, dungeons and dragons and video games. Although he still new to Buffalo, he is loving all that Buffalo has to offer so far. Jackson shares his home with his cat Mr. Ted Mosby, who you will find either sleeping or running up walls.
