Native to the
area, Amanda spent several years in South
Carolina before returning home to New York.
Since 2001, she has been a receptionist
at Cheektowaga Veterinary Hospital, but
her interest in animals doesn’t end there. Amanda also works at a horse farm where Arabian horses are bred, trained and shown.
When not spending time at home with her two dogs, Lakota and Bear, Amanda likes going to the movies, reading and passing the time with her family.
Cheryl
A trained travel agent, Cheryl decided to give up that career in order to work with animals. Cheryl has been a member of the Cheektowaga Veterinary Hospital's receptionist team since 1998.
Married to Kevin, Cheryl likes to spend her free time working out, biking and hiking.
Carrie
Carrie has been working at Cheektowaga Veterinary Hospital since 1995 and has been a full-time staff member since 2000.
A native of the area, Carrie spends
most of her leisure time caring for her
son Alex as well as Belle, a terrier
mix and Gus, a silky terrier.
Sara
A native of Grand Island, Sara currently lives in Cheektowaga and has been a part-time receptionist with Cheektowaga Veterinary Hospital since 2004.She graduated in 1997 from the University of Buffalo with a BA in Biology, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Physical Anthropology.
A true pet lover, Sara 6 cats; Meg, K, Luna, Mittens, Sherman, and Tigger. She also has a dog named Ripley!
Her hobbies include forensic anthropology, scuba diving, and osteology.
Laura
Laura, a native of Williamsville, is a part-time veterinary receptionist. She has been a staff member to Cheektowaga Veterinary Hospital since 2007. Laura has been spending her free time planning her wedding to her fiancé, Justin. The happy couple will be married in August 2008.
When not taking care of her Chocolate Lab (Buck) and her Calico (Callie), Laura’s other leisure activities consist of cooking, water skiing, and reading.
Heather
A native of Cheektowaga, Heather has been with the Cheektowaga Veterinary Hospital since 2007 as a veterinary receptionist. Heather loves all animals, no matter how young or old they may be.
She has 3 dogs- Johnny (a Greyhound), Buddy (a Boxer), Max (an Australian Shepherd mix), and she has 2 cats, Lucy and Taffy. Heather recently has started to foster an 11 year old Bassett Hound named Gabby.
Heather spends the rest of her free time running and competing in races, and triathlons to raise money for various charities and organizations..
