Welcome to Cheektowaga Veterinarian Hospital

To keep your senior pet healthy, be sure to take advantage of our Senior Pet Health Plan. This group of diagnostic tests is recommended annually for pets 7 years or older. Unfortunately, pets age much faster than humans (Click here to see comparison chart), but serious health problems can often be prevented or delayed with early testing.

The Senior Pet Health Plan includes:
Physical Examination Examination of your pet's body systems and overall condition
Complete Blood Count Tests for changes in and health of the blood cells
Blood Chemistry Analysis Looks at the health of the major internal organs
Thyroid Testing The thyroid gland contributes significantly to your pet's overall health by regulating metabolism
Urinalysis The urine is a very sensitive indicator of a various diseases
Fecal Examination Determines if parasites are present
Baseline EKG A sensitive indicator of early heart disease
Screening X-rays Chest and abdominal x-rays to evaluate organ size, lung pattern, and look for masses or abnormal fluid accumulation
Specialized Ocular Tests Screening tests to evaluate for dry eye (KCS) and glaucoma
