Digital Radiography is a form of x-ray imaging where digital x-ray sensors are used instead of photographic film. The advantage of digital radiography is the speed of the process. The images are available immediately with increased detail over photographic film. These images can also be transferred digitally to a board certified radiologist for evaluation. Digital radiography uses less radiation to produce an image and is therefore safer for the patient, and our staff. We can easily adjust resolution and contrast to highlight any area.
